A non-profit organization that supports women through worship, learning, leadership, community and social justice,  SWUUW discusses women's issues, explores feminist theology, promotes friendships and celebrates the diversities that makes us individual women on our individual spiritual paths.

SWUUW is a district-wide organization open to all UU Women's Groups and women in the Southwest Conference area.

Rise Up and Call Her Name

The complete leader and co-leader's set of materials to facilitate this new UUWF curriculum has been purchased and donated to the library by Southwest Women. For a deposit of $35, from which on the cost of shipping will be deducted upon return, the curriculum guide may be borrowed for the time needed.


Cakes for the Queen of Heaven

The ten-session adult seminar in Feminist Thealogy by Shirley Ann Ranck. This is no longer available from the UUA Bookstore, but remains an invaluable resource for women not yet acquainted with the divine feminine. Available for the time needed to implement the curriculum. The NEW version can be purchased in two volumes from UU Women and Religion.


Unraveling the Gender Knot

SWUUW has purchased Unraveling the Gender Knot: Challenging the System that Binds Us, a course for Unitarian Universalist adults and youths and our friends. Topics in the seven two-hour sessions include gender, religion, feminism, economics, invisibility and denial, and how to challenge the patriarchal system.
