We invite you to be a vendor at the 2012 Southwest Unitarian Universalist Women’s Conference in Houston Texas, February 24-26, 2012. This conference is an annual gathering of women from the SouthWest district, encompassing all or parts of 6 states and Mexico, as well as women from outside the district. We expect approximately 150-200 women to join us. The vendor area is a part of the conference many of us look forward to throughout the year. Vendors will receive a listing in the Conference Program of their contact information.
Please join us at the Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake, TX. Where is that? Clear Lake City is really a part of Houston but don’t think of the downtown skyline or busy freeways. The 2012 SWUUW Conference will be held in the beautiful Hilton hotel overlooking Clear Lake and across from NASA Space Center. It is located 25 miles south of downtown Houston, 17 miles from Houston’s Hobby Airport. The vendor area will be located adjacent to the central gathering area for the conference to provide maximum exposure for vendors and convenience for conference attendees. We CAN offer a LOCKED space overnight per the hotel. In no case can SWUUW insure security for vendor spaces beyond the normal hotel security.
The conference begins Friday evening and ends Sunday morning. Vendor space is available from 1 p.m. Friday until noon on Sunday (inclusive of set-up and break-down).

VENDOR FEES AND SPACE
Fees are based on amount of space requested and date of postmark on registration form.
We are also requesting a donated item for our Raffle benefiting SWUUW.
Each space is 8’ x 6’, including a 6 x 2.5’ skirted table and 2 chairs.
If you have needs for space in excess of 8’ x 6’, you must reserve multiple spaces. There is a limit of 2 spaces per vendor.
Refreshments
Included with registration fee is one badge per booth which allows for Breakfast, Lunch and Beverage Service from 8 AM until 5 PM on Saturday only. Beverage Service includes coffee, tea, and soft drinks.
Vendor Booth Fees
- POSTMARKED BY December 1, 2011 - $110 + raffle item donation, $70 for each additional space
- POSTMARKED BY JANUARY 3, 2012 - $125 + raffle item donation, $75 for each additional space
- Postmarked AFTER January 3 & RECEIVED by February 1, 2012,
- IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE - $135 + raffle item donation, $85 for each additional space
Electrical Service is an additional $12 non-refundable for a standard 120 V outlet.
Cancellations received by January 3 will receive a 50% refund. After January 3, 50% refunds will be dependent upon our ability to resell your space.
Your space will be reserved upon receipt of the fee AND a completed registration form. SWUUW reserves the right to decline vendor registrations if accepting the registration may result in excessive representation of a product type or service. Special requests will be honored, when possible, based upon postmark of registration with fee enclosed. Raffle items are to be delivered to the designated table before 9 a.m. Saturday. To receive maximum exposure of your item submit your raffle item for display Friday afternoon.
